Maybe it started quietly. A whisper that wouldn’t go away. Someone in your church noticed something in you and said it out loud: “You should lead.”
But leading in ministry is not for the faint of heart. You need more than good intentions. You need a foundation.
That is why we created the Foundations of Leadership Module.
Not a Seminary. A Bootcamp for Your Calling.
This is not about writing papers or getting lost in academic theory. This is about getting equipped to lead where God has placed you. We are talking about Spirit-led leadership—stuff you can actually use on Monday morning when you are back in the trenches serving people.
Over ten weeks, you will dive into three core areas:
1. Abiding Leadership
Most leadership training skips straight to strategy. We start with your walk with God. If the vine is not healthy, the branches will not bear fruit. You will ground yourself in what it means to lead from a place of abiding in Christ.
2. Biblical Application
We are not guessing at leadership principles. We are mining Scripture for the real thing. You will work through the Apostles’ Creed, Romans, and key theological concepts—and then wrestle with how they actually reshape how you lead.
3. Self-Awareness
Your leadership is always people. But it starts with you. You will take five assessments that reveal your present reality, your restoration journey, your spiritual pathways, and your future ideal. This is not navel-gazing. This is knowing the instrument God is using.
What You Will Actually Do
This is not passive learning. Here is what your ten weeks look like:
- Read and reflect on *The Cure* by John Lynch, *Systematic Theology* by Wayne Grudem, and the book of Romans
- Walk through the Apostles’ Creed with six video discussions on the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, the Church, and salvation
- Complete five self-discovery assessments that map your journey and clarify your calling
- Join a cohort—real people, real relationships, real accountability
- Attend two in-person gathering days (October 16-17) where you will connect face-to-face with your cohort
- Receive monthly coaching calls to process what you are learning and apply it to your context
- Complete a Ministry Practicum that integrates what you are learning into actual ministry
