July Cohort Email Series

Email Series: July Cohort Recruitment

Use this 3-email sequence to recruit for the July Foundations cohort. Personalize as needed before sending.

Email 1: Reminder

Subject: The July cohort is open. Your spot is waiting.

Body:

Hey [Name],

It is June, and the July Foundations cohort is already open for enrollment. You do not have to wait until September. You can start now.

Let me be clear: this is not about pressure. This is about opportunity.

The Foundations of Leadership Module is the kind of experience that shifts things. Not because it is flashy or gives you a quick fix. Because it actually helps you put the pieces together—calling, character, theology, and practice.

Whatever God has called you to, He has not called you to figure it out alone.

The July Cohort Schedule

Enrollment closes: July 10
Student orientation: July 13
Cohort gathering (in-person): August 14-15
Module closes: August 22

What You Will Walk Through

1. Abiding Leadership
Everything starts here. If you are not connected to the vine, you will not bear fruit. We start with your walk with God and what it looks like to lead from a place of abiding in Christ.

2. Biblical Application
We are not guessing at leadership principles. We are mining Scripture for the real thing. You will work through the Apostles’ Creed, Romans, and key theological concepts—and then wrestle with how they actually reshape how you lead.

3. Self-Awareness
You cannot lead people beyond where you have gone yourself. You will take five assessments that reveal your present reality, your restoration journey, your spiritual pathways, and your future ideal.

The Foundations module is $175. All of it—assessments, coaching, community, cohort gatherings. Ten weeks of formation for the work God has given you.

You do not have to wait until September. You can start this journey now.

Email 2: What You Will Experience

Subject: Ten weeks that could change everything

Body:

Hey [Name],

I want to give you a clearer picture of what the July cohort actually looks like. Because this is not passive learning. This is not a watch-a-video-and-check-the-box kind of thing.

Here is your ten-week journey:

Week 1: Orientation
You will meet your cohort director, get oriented to the platform, and connect with the people you will be walking with for the next ten weeks. This is where the relationships start.

Weeks 2-5: Deep Dive
You will work through the Apostles’ Creed series—six videos and discussions that take you deeper into what we believe and why it matters for how you lead. You will read *The Cure* by John Lynch and watch God reshape your understanding of identity and grace. You will also dive into Romans and wrestle with the gospel that changes everything.

Weeks 6-8: Self-Discovery
This is where things get personal. You will complete five assessments: your Life-Line, Present Reality, Restoration, Spiritual Pathways, and Future Ideal. These are not personality tests. They are tools to help you see where God has been, where He is working now, and where He might be leading you.

Weeks 9-10: Integration
You will take all of this and put it into practice. Ministry Practicum, integration modules in Missional Living, Disciple-Making, Kingdom Leadership, and Global Impact. And you will show up for the in-person cohort gathering on August 14-15.

The kind of formation that shapes your leadership does not happen by accident. It happens when you commit.

Enrollment closes July 10. Orientation is July 13.

Email 3: Final Call

Subject: Five days left. The July cohort closes July 10.

Body:

Hey [Name],

This is the last call for the July Foundations cohort. Enrollment closes in five days.

Let me be straight with you: this is not about pressure. This is about reality.

We designed the Foundations module around real community—cohorts where you show up, do the work, and grow together. That means we cannot keep adding people at the last minute. We need to know who is in so we can prepare well.

If you have been thinking about this, wondering if now is the time, let me put it plainly:

There will always be reasons to wait. Busy schedules. Uncertainty. Fear of the unknown.

But God did not give you a call so you could sit on the sidelines. He gave you a call so you could step into it.

What you get:

Ten weeks. Two in-person gathering days (August 14-15). Monthly coaching calls. Five assessments. A Ministry Practicum that puts learning into action.

All for $175.

And here is the thing: the investment is not just money. It is time. It is showing up. It is doing the work. The kind of formation that shapes your leadership does not happen by accident. It happens when you commit.

We will save you a spot. But we need to know you are coming.

Email Timeline

Based on the July cohort timeline (enrollment closes July 10), here are my recommended send dates for the 3-email series:

Email 1: Reminder — “The July Cohort is Open”

  • Send: June 9-10, 2026
  • Why: Gives people 4 weeks to plan and decide. Early enough to capture those who need time to arrange schedules or finances.

Email 2: What You’ll Experience

  • Send: June 23-24, 2026
  • Why: Mid-campaign push, about 2.5 weeks before deadline. People who opened Email 1 but didn’t act get a second touch with more detail.

Email 3: Final Call

  • Send: July 7-8, 2026
  • Why: 2-3 days before the July 10 deadline. Creates urgency without being last-minute. Gives stragglers time to enroll before the window closes.

Spacing: About 2 weeks between each email, which keeps momentum without overwhelming your list.

Pro tip: If you’re sending to a larger list, consider sending Email 3 on July 7 (Tuesday) rather than July 8—Tuesday and Wednesday typically have higher open rates than Thursday/Friday.
