Email Series: Foundations of Leadership Module
Use this 4-email sequence to promote the Foundations of Leadership Module. Personalize as needed before sending.
Email 1: The Invitation
Subject: You heard the call. Now get equipped.
Body:
Hey [Name],
Maybe it started quietly. A whisper that would not go away. Someone in your church noticed something in you and said it out loud: “You should lead.”
But leading in ministry is not for the faint of heart. You need more than good intentions. You need a foundation.
That is why we created the Foundations of Leadership Module.
This is not a seminary course. It is a bootcamp for your calling. Ten weeks of practical, Spirit-led leadership training that you can actually use on Monday morning when you are back in the trenches serving people.
Here is what you will dive into:
1. Abiding Leadership
Most leadership training skips straight to strategy. We start with your walk with God. If the vine is not healthy, the branches will not bear fruit.
2. Biblical Application
We are not guessing at leadership principles. We are mining Scripture for the real thing. You will work through the Apostles’ Creed, Romans, and key theological concepts—and then wrestle with how they actually reshape how you lead.
3. Self-Awareness
Your leadership is always people. But it starts with you. You will take five assessments that reveal your present reality, your restoration journey, your spiritual pathways, and your future ideal.
This is not for everyone. This is for emerging leaders who have heard God’s call and are serious about being equipped.

Email 2: What You Will Experience
Subject: Ten weeks that could change everything
Body:
Hey [Name],
I want to give you a clearer picture of what the Foundations module actually looks like. Because this is not passive learning. This is not a watch-a-video-and-check-the-box kind of thing.
Here is your ten-week journey:
Week 1: Orientation
You will meet your cohort director, get oriented to the platform, and connect with the people you will be walking with for the next ten weeks. This is where the relationships start.
Weeks 2-5: Deep Dive
You will work through the Apostles’ Creed series—six videos and discussions that take you deeper into what we believe and why it matters for how you lead. You will read *The Cure* by John Lynch and watch God reshape your understanding of identity and grace. You will also dive into Romans and wrestle with the gospel that changes everything.
Weeks 6-8: Self-Discovery
This is where things get personal. You will complete five assessments: your Life-Line, Present Reality, Restoration, Spiritual Pathways, and Future Ideal. These are not personality tests. They are tools to help you see where God has been, where He is working now, and where He might be leading you.
Weeks 9-10: Integration
You will take all of this and put it into practice. Ministry Practicum, integration modules in Missional Living, Disciple-Making, Kingdom Leadership, and Global Impact. And you will show up for the in-person cohort gathering on October 16-17.
The kind of formation that shapes your leadership does not happen by accident. It happens when you commit.

Email 3: The Cohort Difference
Subject: You do not have to do this alone
Body:
Hey [Name],
Let me be honest about something.
You could read leadership books on your own. You could watch videos by yourself. You could even do the assessments in isolation.
But that is not how formation works. Formation happens in community.
Your cohort is not a class. It is a band of brothers and sisters who are in the fight with you. You will share stories, pray for each other, challenge each other, and celebrate breakthroughs together.
By the time you finish, you will have something you cannot get anywhere else: people who know you, people who are for you, people who will keep walking with you after the module ends.
Here is what makes the cohort different:
• Monthly coaching calls — process what you are learning and apply it to your context
• In-person gathering days (October 16-17) — face-to-face time that resets your vision
• Ongoing accountability — people who will notice when you are drifting and pull you back
We are connected to the Christian and Missionary Alliance, but we welcome leaders from any Christian denomination. If you love Jesus and want to lead well, you belong here.
The September cohort closes enrollment on September 11.

Email 4: Final Call
Subject: The window is closing
Body:
Hey [Name],
The September cohort is almost full. Enrollment closes on September 11.
Let me be straight with you: this is not about pressure. It is about reality.
We designed the Foundations module around real community—cohorts where you show up, do the work, and grow together. That means we cannot cram in endless people at the last minute. We need to know who is in so we can prepare well for you.
If you have been thinking about this, wondering if now is the time, let me put it plainly:
There will always be reasons to wait. Busy schedules. Uncertainty. Fear of the unknown.
But God did not give you a call so you could sit on the sidelines. He gave you a call so you could step into it.
What you get:
Ten weeks. Two in-person gathering days. Monthly coaching calls. Five assessments. A Ministry Practicum that puts learning into action.
All for $175.
We will save you a spot. But we need to know you are coming.
