Policies & Conditions
The LEAD Program
Policies and Conditions
Please review and accept the following policies before completing your enrollment.
1. Code of Conduct
By enrolling in The LEAD Program, you agree to embody biblical principles that result in Christ-like lifestyles, characters, and attitudes. Every sphere of life—including time, family, sex, money, dress, speech, entertainment, work, friendships, and food—should be submitted to the Holy Spirit and live above reproach.
Where Scripture is not explicit, you are expected to practice a lifestyle that constructively benefits others, leads to peace, and glorifies God. Regarding the consumption of alcohol, while Scripture allows it in appropriate contexts, it strictly warns against drunkenness and abuse. Special care and high accountability must be maintained in this area.
Prohibited Inappropriate Behaviors:
- Sexual: Any involvement in sexual activity outside of marriage, including verbal remarks (threats, solicitation, sexually explicit language in person or digitally), visual exposure (pornographic material, suggestive pictures), or inappropriate physical contact/touching for sexual gratification.
- Physical: Any act resulting in non-accidental physical injury or excessive physical discipline (slapping, punching, beating, or holding against one’s will).
- Emotional: Chronic attitudes or acts likely to produce emotional or mental health distress, including verbal denigration, derogatory name-calling, demeaning criticism, or vocal tones designed to degrade a person’s worth.
Note: If an internal investigation identifies behaviors that are harmful but do not strictly fit these definitions, LEAD reserves the right to implement accountability, mentoring, or counseling action plans.
2. Academic Policies & AI
The goal of The LEAD Program is to spiritually develop the entire person through critical thinking and personal internalization of the content. Plagiarism of any kind directly inhibits this growth.
You agree to honestly submit your own work and properly cite external sources. To preserve your personal development, **the vast majority of your written work must be your own original thought.** While Generative AI tools may be used for basic grammar/spell checks or high-level brainstorming, you are strictly prohibited from using AI to draft, rewrite, or complete the substance of your assignments.
Penalties: Violations of the Plagiarism & AI policy will, at minimum, result in a failing grade for the assignment, and may lead to failure of the entire module or immediate removal from the program without a tuition refund.
3. Coursework & Academic Standards
To successfully complete a course in The LEAD Program, you agree to adhere to the following academic standards:
- Assignments: All coursework must be completed prior to your scheduled cohort gathering. No coursework or late submissions will be accepted after the designated Course Close Date listed on the Home Page.
- Discussion Questions: Answers must incorporate lesson content, be written in paragraph form, and include responses to at least two other cohort students. To allow peers time to respond, you are expected to submit initial questions 5-7 days before the gathering.
- Reading: You must complete at least 90% of all assigned reading materials (Bible, books, articles) and honestly submit the self-assessment True/False statement confirming: “I have read at least 90% of the assigned reading.”
- Ministry Practicum: You commit to participating in at least two hours of active, intentional ministry activity per week for the duration of the program.
- Attendance Limits: You are required to attend a minimum of 75% of all Cohort Gatherings and 75% of all scheduled Coaching appointments.
- Grading & Refunds: A cumulative grade of at least 70% is required to pass each course. If you score below 70% or drop out, you must retake the module. No refunds of tuition costs will be given after enrollment in a module.
4. Accountability & Discipline Jurisdiction
Discipline within The LEAD Program is ecclesiastical in nature, designed to honor God, preserve community health, and gently restore individuals in accordance with Matthew 18 and Galatians 6:1. Bases for discipline include doctrinal defiance, moral/sexual failure, financial dishonesty, division, violence, or criminal convictions.
By purchasing and enrolling, you submit yourself to the restorative authority of your local church leadership and The LEAD Program. **While The LEAD Program partners closely with local churches and honors their local disciplinary processes, The LEAD Program reserves sole and final authority over your enrollment status, academic standing, and ongoing participation in LEAD activities.**
Because these proceedings are purely ecclesiastical, any appeal or action before a civil court or tribunal is strictly prohibited. The LEAD Executive Committee reserves the right to modify these policies at any time at its sole discretion.
Acknowledgement and Agreement
By checking the box or proceeding with payment, I certify that I have read, understood, and agree to align myself with The LEAD Program’s Code of Conduct, Academic Policies, Coursework Standards, and Disciplinary Jurisdiction. I recognize that failure to maintain these standards may result in dismissal from the program without a refund.
